POSITION: FIELD ENGINEER
REPORT TO: SALES MANAGER

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Field Engineer will be responsible for getting Accoya® specified into the drawings of construction projects and develop the sales channel with a specified approach to architects and design institutes; Working with architects or design institutes to make them aware of the features, benefits and comparative advantages of Accoya®; Following up specifications made (with the sales team) to ensure sales are made., these responsibilities will include:

1. Work with the sales team to determine the key projects where design support is needed (i.e., from Top 10 or Sales Pipeline report).
2. Develop list of key specifiers / design institutes and build relationships with them.
3. Maintain an up-to-date technical file on Accoya® which can be used in answering architects and engineers questions on Accoya®.
4. Make routine seminars and presentations to architects and design institutes to raise the awareness of Accoya® and get into project specifications.
5. Communicate any specifications made to the sales team and follow-up to be sure the sale finally gets made.
6. Develop technical proposals to architects and design institutes for projects considering Accoya® and liase with the sales team for meetings with owners and contractors as may be needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Work experience – The candidate should have 3 years experience in Design Institute, sales experience with specified products a benefit

Competence
•          Able to read and modify design drawings/Skillful for Auto-CAD
            Communication and relationship-building skills 
            Planning Skill 
            Problem-solving ability

Language – The candidate will be good in both English and Mandarin.
