POSITION: RETAIL SALES MANAGER – SOUTH & EAST CHINA- DISTRIBUTION (1 FOR SH)
REPORT TO: GM – DISTRIBUTION SALES
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Retail Sales Manager – South & East China will to enable Accoya® wood (rough sawn and finished product) to be seen by potential end-users and offer a point of purchase for smaller volume customers, to develop Accoya® sales within selected group of retailers, mainly large scale DIY and professional building material supply centers making sure Accoya® gets a high level of exposure, and negotiate partnership agreements/marketing strategies with retailers and execute. These responsibilities will include:
1. Achieve of the monthly sales targets.
2. Manage daily sales activities to implement company’s overall sales strategy for an assigned region.
3. Develop appropriate retail lines and make attractive displays, packaging to suit the various retailers.
4. Develop and train in-store associates and business-to-business sales team on selling Accoya®.
5. Coordinate inventory and logistics with distributor for retail markets to maximize efficiency.
6. Coordinate in-store promotions & marketing plan.
7. Maintain ownership mentality and accept personal accountability for regional performance.
8. Complete the tasks necessary the superior may be arranged at any time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Work experience – The candidate should have at least 10 year related work experience with minimum 5 years experience in retail management role. Construction or related materials experience, wood industries experience and sales in DIY stores a plus.
Education –Bachelor degree is required and solid knowledge of the construction industry practice is preferred.
