Created for Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd., this unique Accoya bench is located outside the Otemachi Park Building. The bench design is unique and permits reconfiguration of parts by the users.
Distributed by Ikegami, Accoya wood has been extensively used across public projects in Japan and has developed a reputation of resilience in this demanding climate over the past 6 years.
Designed by Triplex Architects, this project was titled the Designer Loft as it embraces a multitude of unique features. Accoya wood was specified throughout the bathroom for the ceilings and wall panels.
Uncoated Accoya wood was specifically chosen for the ceiling because of its light and natural aesthetic which provided the ideal solution to open up the room due to its naturally low ceiling.
Triplex Architects also chose Accoya wood due to its water environment performance, non-toxic credentials and low thermal gain. The project recently won the Best Bathroom Award from the biggest newspaper in Brazil – Estadão.
